Sergeant

The Sergeant represents the lowest form of officer within the Doric Military structure, though not commissioned, Sergeant remains the highest rank attainable by non-noble individuals outside of rare exceptions. The role of Sergeant generally sees an individual commanding a platoon of soldiers ranging from twelve to twenty men, with several Sergeants reporting to a Lieutenant or Captain. A Sergeant may also be a more administratively focused role such as that carried out by Scribes and Manager Sergeants.
