Grand Marshal Pentti of Canyndor

Marshal Pentti Woljoka (a.k.a. Little Woljoka)

Pentti was born the middle child of three brothers, the House Woljoka having much prestige as an old family of knights and gentlemen, before more recently coming into greater acreage of land after Pentti's grandfather was bequeathed a generous sum of land near Tarpomett by Grand Duke Tapani VII. The males of the family were well known to be of great stature and strength, owing to their tradition of military service, Pentti, however, had a small frame that did little to intimidate, earning him the name 'Little Woljoka'. Serving primarily as Sheriff in his younger years for his father at Tarpomett, Pentti was later shuffled off to the court of Canyndor, a move seen as quite a coup by his family. Helping in minor administrative matters in the capital, Pentti would find himself in a most unexpected position when he would be granted the position of Grand Marshal by the Grand Duke, replacing the former incumbent, the tempestuous Black Kappelli, or the Black Bear, who had been stripped of the title. Though it was heavily speculated that Pentti was granted the role simply due to his obeying nature, he took on the title with the utmost seriousness, being known to train and consult his subordinates with agonising frequency, working around the clock. When the Doric-Aijian War began, Pentti would take his place by the grand duke in the campaign, often being assigned minor details in battles.
