The Baker is the individual responsible for making bread, this rather simple responsibility may also encompass the making of pastries and other baked goods should they have a particularly well-patroned business. While in more rural settings, each household may make their own bread or a village may pay a particular individual for the use of a communal oven, bakers tend to set their profession in more populated areas where it is more convenient for the people to buy ready-made bread than to make their own.
