Zaran is a giant crystal sunset dragon with extensive experience as a psion, wizard, and "cleric". (He isn't technically a cleric. He doesn't worship or gain spells, but is instead a power outlet for the dragon overgod Io, which has similar effects to cleric abilities.) He has an ice and metal shard "death breath" breath weapon.
When he uses Elf Rage to take a smaller elven form, his outfit is seriously clashing, possibly including a kilt.
