One of the most effective and brutal of the generals of the Empire of Shisui. His symbol, and the symbol of the soldiers under his command, is a golden ten-pointed star.

Personal history
In the summer of 23 ARL, General Shen was a successful general in the service of the ever-increasingly evil and corrupt government of the Empire of Shisui. He had been gifted with a grafted (and Corrupted) set of augmetic spidery sword-arms on his back, which he could use to deadly effect alongside his own martial skill and magic items.
In September, he was sent to the border of the Chasm of the Lost in Shinkitsu Forest with a cadre of mages and a technomancer engineer to build up a self-replicating terracotta army forge. His force was discovered and briefly engaged by Budo and members of the Shadows of Existence on the 10th, but the adventurers were driven off without much effect.
On the 12th, the Shadows returned, this time in full force and with preparation. The ensuing battle saw nearly the entirety of General Shen's army vaporized by Eldrin Stormseeker's spellfire or torn apart by Sunderfury Ironspire and Sith's summoned muppets, and the technomancer engineer was abducted by Ruby, Knight, and Malakai acting as infiltrators. With the forge disabled and his army gone, and with a brief lull in the fighting as the Shadows fell back to interrogate the engineer, General Shen called for the evacuation of his few remaining forces. The Shadows returned and caught them just as they were preparing to leave.
For the first and last time, General Shen engaged the Shadows of Existence in personal combat. The fight closed with the general flat on his back in a chasm of his own making, pinned to the ground by Knight's Dream Master's Nail.
