Rather then going through a huge transformation. The Republican Party has simply quadrupled down on it's Christian right wing reactionary platform. The Party has long since stopped being a threat to the Democratic Party. Instead using their dominance in politics to stoke fears and hysteria for profit. Taking bribes to enable rigging and corruption. By 2031 The Republican Party developed it's audience enough to openly decry Democracy and instead advocate for a conservative Theocracy however they make no attempts to actually make this a reality. Instead Republicans act as scary controlled opposition to justify the Neo Democrat's policies and their actions. Inciting further chaos and racism to justify high military and police presence. Their fear mongering and propaganda remains largely same as it is a highly effective model and easily ensnares the vulnerable and desperate in Neo America, more then it did in Pre War America. It's also the only mainstream vent of religious beliefs.Ideology
Long has this party abandoned the idea of Democracy, it speaks in support of Religious Theocracy in the modern world, masking it with American nationalism and exceptionalism. It is the other side of the coin of the American dual system, in reality it only reinforces the Imperialist Nature of Neo America and further erodes America's already diminished Democratic tradition. It's hyper reactionary and very rarely poses new policy but rather offers up pretend opposition to Neo Democrat policy and an easy excuse for why some policies don't pass. RNC leadership is aware of this dynamic and pushes it forwards, of course it has the intention of one day replacing the US government but until then, the party will continue to spread it's religious fascism through the country's disillusioned. They are also very quick to blame any progressive idea or concept for the world woes, often saying that the world's ruin is due to rampant leftist control. Even if Leftists have been out of power since the early 2020's and were violently removed from new positions of power in 2030 during the coup d'état. They are Anti Rights, Anti Democracy, Pro traditionalism, Pro Christian Nationalism and Pro Religion in Politics. Their potent racism is also unmistakable as they also inspired the third rise of the KKK since their decline in the 60's.Budget and Strategy
While holding little in official Power, the Republican Party has vast soft power through media and by using Neo Democrat policy to forward their own agenda. The Shared Nationalism between the parties makes transition very easy, including America's history with Christian Nationalism. It also uses the hollow inconsequential racial justice and Equality polices of neo democrats to stoke white supremacist rage. Through use of Orwellian tactics and Dog whistling it is hyper effective at seducing moderates into extremist causes and inspiring far right activism and direct action demonstrations such as large convoys, protests and more sinisterly, book burnings, mass marches with torches and fire, dressing all black with white masks and finally lynchings. It gets it's budgeting specifically from the White Evangelical Church which acts like a company to avoid prosecution and Maxwell Industries whom various board members are sympathetic to the Republican cause. They are just as greedy and corporatist as anyone else but do a lot of deflection and projection to make themselves seem pure. The RNC also helps fund militaristic parades and demonstrations, while also having their own shadow network of independent and mainstream news to help seduce people into their ideology and party."In God We Trust"
