Relativity is a time-travel fictional universe created by Alex Harlequin. Stories set in the universe are in progress and will include short stories, at least one novella and at least one novel.
On a school trip, Hugh Larsson discovers he's a future time-traveller. Throughout his life he explores new worlds and chases villains; meets Victorian secret agents, cyborgs, and ogres; and slowly grows into the reputation he knows he'll one day earn.

A Brief History of Relativity
42nd Century
Time machines are invented. 200 are accidentally sent off to random destinations, some with passengers. Time machines are outlawed, and a self-destruct signal is sent out.
Lots of different times
Time machines self-destruct, leaving their passengers stranded.
(TBD) million BC
The people of
Zealandia (descended from time-travellers) leave Earth with dinosaurs and settle on
Zeala-Obon.
Victorian Era
The
Guild of Time Displaced is formed.
Hugh Larsson Cassidy-Smith is born and gains the power to time travel.
Early 21st Century
Hugh grows up, and learns he is a time-traveller.
Mid 21st Century
The
Solar Triad creates mythical beings and creatures, called
Zartriites and
Zartrizoas respectively, using genetic engineering via alien technology. The Triad accidentally cause a
Zombie Semi-Apocalypse. Hugh shuts down the project and relocates all their creations (except the
zombies).
Bronze Age +
Hugh relocates all the Zartriites and Zartrizoas, where they live hidden from the human race until ...
Late 21st Century
... the human race discover the zartri species.
22nd Century
The
Oaschi people, who live in Earth's oceans, reveal their existence to their land-dwelling neighbours. The
Alpazoi, originally from the planet
Azpal, make official contact with Earth.
Note
When navigating around, events and periods of time come under the category "Atlas" > "Eras". In a time-travel universe, time is just as much a location as anything geographic!
Prose
Short fiction and novellas/novels may not be published in chronological order. Or even Hugh's chronological order. He also won't be the protagonist for every one.
