Time Travelers

This is an article meant to keep track of the party members that are sent back in time, the people they become during their stay, and how I'm going to implement that.
Val and Isbjorn will take the place of soldiers under the direction of Commander Alek Gwilym. This gives the party the ability to freely access the castle and Soldiers' Zone (where they'd be staying). Runar, as the only divine caster in the group, will be one of the priests accompanying Ilona Darovnya and be staying in the nearby village. This gives some freedom in the village and an initial base of trust. Lastly, Cayde will be a young noble (probably around 14-15) of one of the houses, allowing for some humor and easy connections to the rest of the nobility.

Implementing

The party will keep their mental stats (Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma) along with any mental skill proficiencies. Class features will be limited, with the purely mental ones being kept and the physical being lost (such as Wild Shape).
In terms of magic use, Cayde and Val will be able to use magic with a 50% chance of the spell backfiring. Isbjorn will need to have a conversation with the Fanes and the success of that conversation will determine how well she can cast (not at all to 25% chance of failure) and Runar will have a conversation with Andral almost immediately after the party "arrives" that will be much the same as Isbjorn's. However, in exchange the Fanes and Andral may decide to not allow a spell to be cast (and in exchange with a 100% success rate for Runar, he'll basically have Andral riding shotgun in his head).
