The Barovian god of the sun, ravens, and healing was once very important indeed. Largely, he oversaw the protection of the dead on their way to the afterlife and the healing of those still alive. As a result, the Barovians in their near obsession with mortality worshiped him devoutly and they still, even after forgetting the name of the god himself, hold to the belief that ravens carry the souls of the dead.
Andral himself lies in the hibernation of a dead god along with his counterpart Mother Night and will probably always stay that way even as his religion is revived.
