Ravenkin

One of the less common strains of therianthropy, the ravenkin are a highly concentrated group and are sometimes considered more of a race than other varieties. Largely good-aligned, the largest number of them are members of the secretive Keepers of the Feather, with a few dotting the land in other organizations. Keenly aware of their lack of numbers and physical strength, they have learned to relay on trickery and secrecy to survive and rarely flout their abilities to the world.

Transmission & Vectors

Blood and spit of someone born with the condition are the only vectors of spread for this strain, but the Keepers of the Feather have made this into quite the ritual, working into every possible avenue for new recruits.

Causes

Legend holds it as a blessing given to Andral's original chosen, passed down over the centuries.

Symptoms

The usual side-effects with the animal for this strain being ravens. Carriers can also expect to live for much longer lives than a typical member of their race with the humans having been documented as living as long as three centuries.
