Mount Baratok

The tallest and largest of the northern mountains in Barovia, Mount Baratok helps outline the northern border of Barovia. It's rugged slopes and thick forests make it difficult for those unused to it to move quickly, but not too extreme to be deadly, so bandit clans and other types of criminals have long histories of hiding within. The Von Zarovich Family has an equally long history of getting rid of them, however, so none of the groups can be notable enough for this write up.

Natural Resources

The mountain has long been noted for it's silver reserves, but greedy nobles quickly depleted the easy to reach areas. The leftover mines are often used by desperate criminals for hiding spots though.
