Barovian Noble Tombs
This is where the fight of the party vs Enzio occurs. So far, it seems that poor Vic is gonna get the Borderlands treatment and get his corpse blown up as the party arrives.
This is a place with many names. Some call it a tomb, the Noble's Tomb, and that fits part of it as the bodies of those present at the Wedding Massacre at Castle Ravenloft lie here. Others call it a silver mine, what it originally was when three families fought over it with hidden knives and poison in the War of Silver Knives . The Wachter Family and their servants have another name for it. They call it a prison, the prison, as they know that in the year 398 BC, Strahd von Zarovich trapped Leo Dilisnya, newly turned, inside to suffer for his part in Tatyana and Sergei's deaths.
For so long it sat in stasis, no one disturbing the dust. In the last few years, however, Izek Strazni has added Victor Vallakovich and Stella Wachter to the prison's inmates and will soon move them to the tomb.
Purpose / Function
Originally, this was a silver mine, but it had long been stripped down. Now, it's a holding place for those who survived the initial part of the Wedding Massacre at Castle Ravenloft in case they turned after death and for Leo Dilisnya. Both aspects of this can be seen still.
Alterations
Tombs and traps have been added to the old mine by the Wachter family and Izek respectively.
