Angry Lumberjack

The beating heart of New Town is the Angry Lumberjack a building that acts as both the main pub and unofficial guildhall for the lumberworkers, craftspeople of New Town, and any other group unable to access the real Guildhall. The ground floor of the building is the pub proper with the crowd spilling out into the street when sunset comes. The upper floor is a collection of rooms spanning all sizes for use of people looking to meet safe from spying eyes and ears and are often in use by artisans and workers needing a space to plan out events.
The Kargat have been known to scope out the place with members of the Kargatane, but refuse to enter themselves for fear that the staff working here under Rynwaen Lafdar may be clerics just like the barkeep of the Drunken Nut.
