WorldEmber 2020 - Three Goals in One
Welcome back, Adherents!
This is our new and improved meta article on WorldEmber's progress. During this wonderful time of year we have managed to hit THREE MILESTONES! The first, and not as exciting, I hit the 40,000 word mark for WorldEmber. Only 10,000 to go and I am FREEEEEE. (But I always have more to write.) The second is that we hit our setting goal of 400,000 words. That's a few books, I believe! It is wonderful to just have so much. And then lastly we hit 1,000 articles! It has been an amazing journey!
Things we worked on!
We have been starting from the ground up, in a way. We completely redid the Introduction to the Setting and a few other similar meta pages. I am going to list the top 6 articles I would love if everyone checked out. Not all of them were done during WorldEmber, but we did update all of them during the month. I want to make sure they are PERFECT for new eyes on the setting.
If you read the Introduction to the Setting please let us know if anything is confusing! Gotta' get this perfect.
Stream on the 19th
In addition, I will be streaming live with the lovely people over at Ethnis on the 19th. So basically in a few hours from writing this! Hope to see a few familiar faces and maybe some new ones! I will absolutely be sharing the Introduction during stream and can't wait to do sprints with such wonderful writers.
Congratulations on your milestones! :D I've hit 10k words and I wanted to hit 25k, but we'll see how that goes.
You still have 11-ish days, you got this! Remember that you can always expand upon articles you already did or make a few short ones for fun, everything helps! Our process involved a few big articles then a few small ones to help break it up so it isn't as stressful!
