Shehrabad Beaches
Geography
The Shehrabad beaches are divided into two. On the northeast side of The Isle of Shehrabad there is the Shehrabad East Beach and on the southwest side there is the Shehrabad West Beach. The Shehrabad West Beach is partially protected from harsh winds and weather by Mount Durga so more wildlife tends to live on that beach. Both beaches are home to the Shehrabad Docks. A few meters beyond the beach is the ever changing rock formations that protect the island.
Fauna & Flora
In the ocean, there are variety of seaweed and sea grass. Some of it waste up on shore. Lobsters and crabs come onto shore. Sometimes turtle do as well. Sea birds often stop to feed on the seaweed, crabs and lobsters. As for marine life, most large fish cannot make it past the rock cliffs. However smaller fish like sardines, moonfish and shrimp love water near shore because it’s free of ocean predators.
The Shebali farm things in the beaches. Oysters are grown on the Shehrabad West Beach to make pearls. Farmers grow sea plant on the Shehrabad East Beach to use it as pasture for goats.
