Kethoth

This Death Shepherd was encountered on the plane of Kiep Sau. He has similar features to the other exalted being they interacted with, Facili. He stands over ten feet tall, seems more crocodilian than human, and has a devout focus towards his creator, Chet. In their brief conversation, the party had learned that being a ferryman was his primary duty and that Facili was considered a rogue shepherd for abandoning his duty.

There are two things of note about his ferrying ability. One is that even though Chet is presumed dead, thanks to the god-eater, the afterlife god’s divinity seems to still channel through Kethoth. Secondly, and perhaps even more interesting, is that Kethoth’s reach through the afterlife is not tied to the continent of Quai Thu. In their initial interaction, Malikae was trying to retrieve Saepe and Kethoth was the ferryman who brought him back. This implies that Kethoth can travel to wherever someone rests and can interact with the afterlife realms for each God.
