Fallmouth

Fallmouth is the largest city on Quai Thu. Originally a fortification established by Dol Dornen missionaries, it now serves as a penal colony for the empire.

Demographics

The city itself has individuals coming from all walks of life. Looking at the overall demographics, Fallmouth’s ratio of heritages is similar to that of the capital city of Dol Dorn Haven. Humans make up the majority of the population, and dwarves and halflings are the larger minorities. The least represented demographies are those who’s borders are distant from the center of the empire. This includes Tiefling and Dragonborn who origins are tied to the continent east of Iperios, and of elves who’s kingdoms are to the far west. There is also an influence of native heritages, primarily in the Southern District.   Beyond heritage, the peoples of Fallmouth can be broken down by the means of their arrival to Quai Thu. There is of course those who worship Dol Dorn, but the priamary divide is those who came to the city willingly or were shipped to Fallmouth

Districts

Coastal and Warehouse District
This Northern section of the city is formed around the docks resting in the Aegir Sea. Here commerce, military support and new immigrants arrive from the mainland. Many of the storefronts and businesses located in the district are here to support the navel life, including inns, fishing supplies, and shipwrights. In addition, the South East section of the barbican is primarily warehouses as well as single auxiliary barracks for the city militia. To the South, the main gate leads to the Guild and Market Districts.   Guild and Market District
Crossing through the North Gate of Fallmouth leads individuals into the city's wealthier districts. To the West, the main road passes Kol Korran Square. This is the primary shopping market for a wide variety of goods ranging from animal feed to herbal medicines. Raw materials as well as more refined goods will often pass through the auction house of The Feather and the Scale.   The The North East side of the city is home to a collection of guilds that have taken interest in the untapped resources of this newly discovered continent. These guilds often flaunt wealth to exemplify their success and in tern those who wish to be seen as a higher caste will live close by. Additionally , within this neighborhood is the noble estate for the overseer for the city.   Southern District and Tent City
The Southern District is the least developed of the young city's districts. Those unable or unwilling to pay the exorbitant prices of the Guild District end up here. This gives the district the false impression that it is poor and unsafe, but there is a variety businesses that can only be found here including butcher shops and Mystra's Artistry.   "Tent City", as it is colloquially called, is an encampment of Lizardfolk not far from the southern gate of Fallmouth. These individuals tend to not stay in one place for very long and primarily make their living outside the city walls as guides, lumberjacks, and hunters.
