Lunist the Merciful

INTRODUCTION

Lunist the Merciful was the very first angelic being created by Loscin, all the way back in 43 1p. Her entire career lasted hundreds of centuries, well until the end of time in the 17th millennia. Her powers were never fully revealed, but many considered her the merciful, the divine general of Loscin's vast hoards, and one of two created beings able to wield the Flamesword of Light. Although her fearsome look in the divine realm helped her conquer some of the more perilous armies summoned in the Dark Pits of Kornon, Lunist is actually a fair maiden of the most high, and the most desirable woman if she revealed her full beauty. As is custom, she never married, except once, in secret on Abeon, to Van the Warden.

LUNIST THE DIVINE

Lunist fought in the original divine wars for cosmic balance, from 49 1p - 297 2p. Her role in the war of the titans brought an end to the tyranny of the races, and resulted in the new world order that began near the end of the second period. She is part arvenon, part human, part valkyrie, part drow, and part goddess. She is the herald for Loscin, and her appearance on any part of Eteanal was a feared sign to the masses of the struggles to come. It meant extraordinary means were being expelled on the divine sphere to send the most powerful of the nine to defend the earth.

LUNIST THE SORCERESS

Lunist is an unnatural sorceress of the Windpike, a variant of Valkyrie from which Loscin made after Lunist. The Windpike have a knack for the supernatural, which later led the entire race into

paganism by worshipping Lunist herself. Lunist can gather a mustering of redstorms, a form of magic largely unknown to mortals until the early 11th Period. These 'redstorms' can manipulate the fabric of the earth around the user, causing divine changes to the very elements or land around them. While a potent and powerful ability to wield, using such magic causes dire changes to the physical formation of the user, as drastic as the changes of the elements which they themselves altered. Lunist has specially crafted armor for these purposes, amariatic gold chest plates with a single gold sleeve of armor for her 'redstorm' gathering arm. However, the armor still cannot perfectly protect the physical makeup of Lunist, or anyone else for that matter, from the harmful repercussions of redstorm.

LUNIST THE ALCHEMIST

Lunist is also able to harness the power of the Arvenon, scientifically altering the genetic makeup of plants and nature by turning it into metals and alloys. Her use of toxin brewing is limited, but the natural use of alchemy in combat is quite lethal, especially against hellspawn creatures such  

Alchemyas skullers. The symbolic use of Alchemy is somewhat question in small rings of philosophers, leading to controversy over her use of its mighty powers. However, this does not deter any of the mighty three (Lunist the Merciful, Blackwulf the Flame Lord, Andryr the Sapphire) from using the questionable arts they are given. Lunist is one of the Metal Alchemists, meaning she can cast spells which transform certain types of natural elements into other alloys. This is a largely military version of the science, but it can also be  used economically.

 LUNIST THE MORTAL 

 Lunist is the most powerful and oldest of the merciful, but she is also the most mortal of the nine. Each merciful has five lives to lead and die, and Lunist has lived three of her five lives as of 4781 4p. She never again took up arms in Abeon, as tumultuous circumstances always seemed to grip the continent. Her fourth life she took up in Threstria, exploring the unknown parts of the world in the early 50th century.
