Blackwulf the Flame Lord
INTRODUCTION
Blackwulf the Flame Lord is a merciful of Loscin, and long lost myth of the third period. Many disregard his existence as mere folk tales, meant to scare tyrants from rising to power. Nevertheless, history points to a wielder of a flaming sword taking part in the Second Magic War of Abeon (3727-3730 4p). In Archian folklore, this legendary warrior is known as Sirian, which roughly translates from Abeonic into Fire-Wielder. Not much is known about the merciful to common folk, especially considering it was a rare chapter in the history of Amariacy. The ability to harness fire was a natural side effect of wielders of Erdiamicy, but for Loscin's merciful, Blackwul was a first. His life was relatively short, however, and he was slain during the final battle of the war, at Bloom Spire.
FIRST APPEARANCE
Blackwulf first appeared on Eteanal in 3699, just before the fall of the Ithrium Empire in 3701 3p. The end of the violent third period had brought about a sudden and unnerving increase in demonic activities in Abeon, which simultaneously led to a resurgence of merciful in the north. Blackwulf was accompanied by Van 'Evander' Ward, a grizzled veteran and third oldest of the eight. Blackwulf was new to the created order, having just been created himself, and thus took on traits largely unknown to the older merciful, wielding a combination of the divine magics granted by Loscin. During his fight in the Second Magic War, accounts describe him not only having used Amariacy and the fire harnessing of Erdiamacy, but also even using the Decomatic power of mind control. In Abeonic history, Blackwulf has only been sent once, where he died his first death traumatically at the hands of the Keeper of Hidden Words at Bloom Spire.
COSMIC DEPLOYMENTS
Blackwulf has only appeared for a mere 31 years in Abeon, the reason for this being that the heavenly wars of Loscin keep him occupied in the divine realm. Despite popular belief among Loscinites, the war for balance does not end in the regular life, but stretches on into the peace which Loscin has ordained in his realm. However, the ever present forces of the demigod Kor'non remain. After Loscin placed Lunist back in Tsonlar in the early fourth period, Kor'non led an assault on the divine realm from the dark pit. The defense was headed up by Commander Blackwulf, who promptly slew the armies and thrust them back to the abyss. Since then, Blackwulf and his armies have been guarding the pits, punishing any of the damned who attempt to escape. It is unlikely Blackwulf will ever return to the world of the living, as his duty is one of divine importance- punishing the damned for their sins.
THE DIVINE SWORD OF LOSCIN
While Merciful typically wear a winged white helmet to match their outfit, Blackwulf was granted a different uniform and signa altogether- to match his divinely granted powers. Loscin created an ever-flaming sword, who's power and might could only be wielded by one of his war-generals, Blackwulf or Lunist. Its devastating power can send the darkest of demons, one of Kor'non's five possessing spirits known as keepers, back to the dark pit with the smallest cut. Many believe it is too great a blade to bring back to ABeon without creating mass rifts between heaven and earth, which could also explain Blackwulf's lack of appearances beyond the one time the blade came to Abeon during the beginning of the fourth period. His reemergence would have to coincide with Lunist's death or ascension back to the Cosmic Realm, as the sword needs a wielder for it stay alight. All-in-all, it is unlikely any human or Arvenon eyes will gaze upon Blackwulf ever again.
