Klahrin Belestax (Clare-in)

Holyfyre Klahrin (a.k.a. The Explorer)

INTRODUCTION

Klahrin Belestax-Holyfyre was the third greatest of the mighty seven during the fourth and fifth periods of Abeon. She oversaw the downfall of her race during The Breaking of Ecsaev  and lived through two of the great magic wars. Klahrin is often seen as the true commander of the people's army of Ecsaev during the Great Cordal War of 5300 5p, and her exploits across the Tidal Ocean into other continents made her the most famous explorer in Abeonic History. Her love for the open seas became an ironic fate of death, as she drowned with her crew during the War of the Cordal Coast.

UPBRINGING

Klahrin was raised under vigorous valkyrin principles in the House of Ruyn, one of the prominent Ecsadavian Families until the 48th century. Although not a blood daughter to any of the nobles, Klahrin was seen as a 'miracle child', a heralded savior of the realm by many of the Animus sorceress' of Ecsaev. Her entire childhood, Klahrin was given the best education into magic, Alchemy, mining, and extrition (the art of geological transforming). She was the most knowledgeable of all the young valkyrie by the early 46th century, setting her well ahead of noble candidates for heir to the fifth and seventh Holyfyre.

NOBILITY

Klahrin was chosen to replace Ishnell Holyfyre as the seventh of the council in 4545 4p, now placing her among the most powerful valkyrie alive during that period. With her newfound power and influence, Klahrin quickly set to work on her life's goal: explore the Cordal Coast and other oceans, and discover more about the ancestory of her people. Over the course of her career as a commander of Ecsaev (nearly centuries), she voted on a total of six decisions, commonly being far away from Fyrepike during the calendar year. This made her wildly unpopular among the other nobles, but she remained a legendary hero in the eyes of the people.

MILITARY CAREER

Klahrin fought in many wars over the course of her life, but three stood out as the most notable among them. The First was The Breaking of Ecsaev. As a commander of the House of Ruyn, Klahrin took part in the brutal defending of Maplestall in 4727 4p. Her forces were among the last retreat from the siege- despite her begging them to stay and keeping holding the skullers. She disappeared from the war after the defeat, likely blaming herself- even though the odds were unbelievably stacked against her to hold for as long as they did. After the retreat back to Reykjov, Klahrin abstained from partaking in the war until the final battle in 4814 5p. During this absence from the civil unrest, she traveled across south and around the continent, hoping to reach the chambraidic isles in Dragonwing. However, she found herself at The Deep, that great Arvenon fortress in Tsonlar. Shortly after she sailed north with the drows led by Ellimaih Allymar, and fought in the Battle of Red Fields as a commander of drowic forces of Toralli. After the defense of Kristar City failed, she fell back and realligned with allied army at Shoreson, where she fought alongside her valkyrin sisters Re''inn Stevenson and Svynhyde Stevenson, as well as a fellow Holyfyre of Ecsaev, Sallaphiese. Despite being one of the few leaders who survived the onslaught of Archia during The Third Magic War of Abeon, Klahrin was little recognized as a player in the war, largely because the coallition of her own people was led by Sallphiese Markoph . However, she legitmately carried the most influence of valkyrie during the battles, and saved the future king of Fondalar, Jax Arden, numerous times during the assualt of Shoreson. The final war noted for Klahrin to have fought in was the Great Cordal War of the 53rd and 54th centuries. The dispute was a reinflamement of the trade issues brought about during The Ender War thousands of years earlier, which resulted in the deaths of thousands of valkyrie and humans during the multi-axis war. During a naval battle in 5304, Klahrin's vessel was struck by a Ardune battleship and promptly sank. She and her three hundred man crew drowned, pushed away by the heavy tides of the Cordal coast. Ecsaev never recovered a leader as great as Klahrin. They eventually lost the war and signed an agreement treaty in 5313 5p.
