S01E14 - A Psyren's call

General Summary

Our group, somewhat shocked, not only from the events of the last episode, but also from the revelation Rochelle uttered, regarding her daughter, Alex. Morpheus and Grimm get a message and make their apologies, leaving the Millennium Marvels to their own devices. Lady Liberty tries to support her mother, who is in psychological and physical shock.
Across town, Psyren is outside an unassuming office building where she believes Grayson Prescott is being held. Using her ability to have her senses leave her body, Psyren checks out the building. The ground floor is empty. She goes down into the parking garage, where there are two black SUVs and a guard, armed with a pistol and one of the gravity rifles. She then moves up to the 2nd floor, using teh stairs and ends up passing right through the skull of a male. In this room, there are four members of Ghost Squad. The Third floor is empty. On the fourth floor, Janus and several Ghost Squad members, along with Grayson Prescott in a side room, guarded by two of the Ghost Squad members.
Psyren realises that there is too much here for her to take on and leaves, to find a homeless man shaking her, trying to wake her up. She asks the man hwo to find Brick Wall, as she needs to contact the Millennium Marvels. He tells her to try Northbridge or Bayside, advising that he usually hangs with another hero.
In Seraphim Manor, the Millennium Marvels talk to Rochelle Carter, who infoms them that they are dealing with Janus and a Mercenary unit, the group identifies as Ghost Squad.
In Northbridge, Psyren manages to get in contact with Aperture, who introduces her to the Millennium Marvels. She then advises them what she has found. Úlfhéðnar contacts Crusader, advising him of the situation. He turns up eventually.
During the conversations, Úlfhéðnar urns into the Squirrel form and tries to steal Lady Liberty's phone, but she realises what's happening. He then slaps her on the bottom before she exits to go see her mother. Crusader arrives at the manor. They start trying to decide how to approach the building containing Grayson Prescott.
They use Djinn's terraport ability to teleport to the roof of a nearby building. There is a great deal of talking regarding plans. Eventually, Psyren goes and has a look and realises that Ghost Squad are leaving. Crusader goes and looks at the building, realising that there is some form off effect around the building. Janus is in the building on the top floor, where he has opened the PRISM and uses it to enhance the leader of Ghost Squad. Lady Liberty throws a car at the building, which seems to bounce off the shield. Crusader uses his gravity power to pull the PRISM from Janus' hand, where it hits the strange shield around the building. At this point, without thinking, Lady Liberty reaches out her hand, grasping the PRISM, which reacts with her physiology. The resulting energy wave is far greater than the original The Catalyst Event, thus allowing the creation of Powered Individuals all around the globe.

Epilogue

Somewhere in Millennium City Janus, the two-faced man stands in front of two individuals before dropping to one knee. "Welcome to Earth Alpha."
"Well done, Janus, you have the Key?"
"No..."
"What do you mean, 'No'," replied the other form in a femine, accented voice.
"It is currently held by a group calling themselves the Millennium Marvels. I have resources which I offer to you in fealty."
"Wise choice.." replied the male speaker.
