When accused of violating medical ethics, Lord Wright retorts that evolution is itself a violent and unforgiving process. And since no one is claiming evolution is unethical, why should his corporation be bound by the same harmful, arbitrary laws. He firmly believes his methods are the only true means to save humanity, which can no longer survive the changing planet.
