While the fundamental genetic manipulation and DNA mechanisms are the same for all H. s. novum, how individuals came to be that way vary. Within the H.s.n. community, there are two general types, often interchangeable by non-subspecies and sometimes within this subspecies too. But there are distinct variances with the culture: Adepts and New Humans. The following are character references to each.

Adepts

Barbie and Ken are real now.

Long legs. Hard abs. Always-perfect hair. Huge eyes and full lips. Taut butt. Bulging genitalia. Perky nipples. Check. Decades ago, even ads with supermodels needed airbrushing or digital enhancement. Not you.

New Humans

We are in charge of Creation now.

You can breathe underwater. Or you have a cat tail and ears. Or fur. Or your skin is radiation-proof in space. Ever wanted three arms? Only your imagination limits you. You are not the next step in evolution; evolution is too slow.
