The Shelf

Channelled into the rock deep beneath Nautica lies The Shelf: a habitat mostly dug deep into the bedrock, protruding out into the deep ocean with massive transparent polymer barriers, onto what was the side of the mountain in the old days. The sector harbors a culture all its own, however most of the ones who reside on The Shelf do so out of necessity, as miners, smugglers, or otherwise.
