Deep Core

The Deep Core, buried deep into the bedrock beneath Mt. Azure, marks the entryway into, as well as central hub of, the Depths. The artificial cavity lies in and around a hypermetamorphic rock layer deep beneath the earth, into which a massive fusion core: Cerulean-B, is constructed powering much of the city. The massive amount of manpower necessary to power and maintain the reactor reside around the facility in the Deep Core; over time, the habitat developed into a bustling metropolis.
