Finidar (Fin-ee-dar)

Finidar is a small but recent nuisance operating within Polarium. Their faction is consistent with that of a local militia despite their public claims of territorial neutrality. Direct communications with Finidar officials is very poor due to many factors including language barriers among specific members, confusing operating locations, and illegitimate documentation of foreign affairs.

Finidar has nevertheless become a marked target of both the Polarian Rebels and Terracom, since they have been collecting and allegedly selling sensitive secrets against both factions to unknown external parties. Terracom scouts have also confirmed that Finidar pirates have been involved in the gradual theft of Terracom military equipment following brief skirmishes against the rebels, most of which resulted in Terracom's short victory. The overall actions and involvement of Finidar paints their true motives for Terracom, marking them as a secondary enemy. The rebels seem to understand how dangerous Finidar is to them, since Finidar's collection of their military intelligence can be dangerous if Terracom can get their hands on it.

As a result, a location of interest has been marked by both sides of the war; the Finidar Research Center, presumed to be the go-to source for all information collected and archived digitally by the Finidar Faction. However, the location of this important building is not yet known to Terracom or to the rebels.

Structure

Militarized, similar to that of a cartel. The organization makes its money to buy further assets within Polarium by gathering and selling sensitive information against both military powers of Polarian Rebels and Pharacorp HQ without ever making direct contact or direct engagements to trigger an official act of war. So, they claim neutrality in the zone they occupy.

Public Agenda

Terracom believes that Finidar secretly have a long term goal of becoming the dominant military power, but others believe Finidar is simply interested in scavenging the entire continent for remains of military gear and Pharacorp technology to sell to higher bidders, marking them as pirates.

Assets

Very similar to that of the Polarian Rebel military forces.

History

Only made aware shortly after the war in Polarium started.

Territories

Scattered, Finidar forces maintain little presence in multiple areas, ensuring that no single location becomes a tempting target for the powers that may conspire against them. However, their hidden facility housing the entire data collection against Terracom and the rebels may be their one weakness.
