Muireal and Saga went to cross the forest, using a skill check based system. Didn’t go to well.
During the journey, Muireal fell through a concealed hole. Akin to a slide made of rock which deposited her in a oval like room with four other halls. Each with their own odd stone-like slide, showing signs of being man made based on some of the pillar structures that have been pressed into the wall.
The Northern entrance was by far the largest, it extended far, but not really deep. Leading to a spherical chamber. Its curved walls holding faucets from which a thin trickle of water came. Collecting at the bottom of the sphere into a dark murky pool.
 Muireal used shocking grasp on the pool, the electric current crackled up along the trickle of water. However by submerging her hand down the water did she find a rope, old and worn. Tugging on it, she heard some grinding noise but could not muster the strength to pull it off. So she bound it around her waist and started power walking away to try and force it open.
 Eventually succeeding, she unsealed a spiralling staircase that went down into darkness. The only glimmer of light was found alongside the walls. As water trickled down, so did it touch some algae of sorts which shimmered a soft blue for a split second.
 At the bottom of the staircase she found a vast expanse of water into the darkness, seeing neither wall nor ceiling from her position. She took note and went back up.
The Eastern entrance was by far the smallest one. Saga forced herself through, nearly falling down as this slide went into a steep decline. Though managing to save herself. At the bottom of this slide was a circular chamber containing four pillars evenly spaced around. At the centre an altar with a dried out vine twisting around it, its last stretching raising up. The ceiling was not visible within the range of their torches, instead it offered only darkness and the rattling noise of chains.
 Saga decided to fetch Muireal and then went back. Muireal threw a torch up to get some light, revealing indeed dangling chains, bones and cobweb. But also a large glimmering green eye that looked down on them. Descending from the darkness came a gollum-like creature, three toed and six fingered. A cyclopian visage lacking a nose but still maintaining the holes that a normal skull would have there.
 As the duo approached the altar did the vine spring to life. Growing fronds and leaves of verdant colorations emitting a soft light. The final stretch of it above the altar unfurled into an enormous five petaled yellow flower with 3 large stems reaching up.
The creature knew their names even before they had said them. It talked about them as his guests. Some life in the place, since his friends (he would have pointed at skeletons) have been quiet for a while now. He also took note that the flower hadn’t bloomed in ages, but doesn’t actually know what it does. He just tended to remain in this cave by his own admission.
The western entrance led into a damp room, heavy with spores, an oppressive air. The ground had become soggy, muddy. The entire room behind had been overgrown by fungi, lichen, mushrooms. A spectacular variant of purple tendrils drooping from the ceiling. Old stone furniture was barely visible under the thick layer.
 Saga decided to scrape some from the stone table, wishing to know if there was anything on it. It held a symbol, an eye surrounded by a diamond like shape. From the left and right originated the Lichtenberg markings which extended over the full length of the table.
 This symbol (rolled a 21) is the symbol of a defunct believe and grouping of arcanists from era’s past. It represented the leylines and their movement through the land, though by now most folk know this to not be the case as magic doesn’t travel by land; But through air and sea in the Current.
 Saga did not wish to scrape every wall clean in the hopes of finding another exit, nor did she collect a sample from the collection of fungal growth The Southern entrance does a full turn in on itself, leading to a room right below the entrance room. Filled with broken urns and pots, old torches lay charred on the ground, a singular crystal hums softly from the ceiling, offering about 10ft of light.
 Two intact objects where located among the mess:
o A smaller box almost with a waxen lid
o An intact urn
Though Muireal decided to leave both be and opted to proceed on their journey through the forest.
The next skill check ensued, causing Muireal and saga to get split up, Muireal soon found herself back on the coastline. Flanked by two aggressive stags, which she seemed to think as a peculiar thing.
Saga arrived a turn later to dispatch the attackers. Harvesting some mushrooms that grew on them due to her halo of spores.
 Investigation of the stags led to the finding of a milky-white substance, sticky in nature in the neck of one. A small splotch concealed under the fur.
 Further down the way they came, a cluster of mushrooms grew from a branch. A white-grey, oval grouping which Saga went to harvest. Cutting the mushrooms caused an abundance of milk-like fluid to spill from them.
At the end of the day the found themselves on the other end of the forest. Camping on an overhanging cliff not two hours out of the town of Seeblick. From this distance they could see lights and chimney smoke. Ships leaving and entering port. From up here all looked fine.
