Potential Origin: Susshrooms

Suspect Number 1?

Saga found some mushrooms in the forest that when cut provided the same milky white sticky substance as found the Infected stags they fought before. The stags appeared to have come from this direction. 
The mushrooms in question are listed under Susshrooms. Are they related? Is Saga now carrying the disease? Did or can she identify these shrooms?
