Session 19

General Summary

Recap

We explored the reservoir to find a way to take down the motherfungal. We found remnants of dockyard and an entrance for halflings. We found a tunnel to the Hive. Middle tunnel had arachnite ended in dead-end with water rushing through. Drainholes lead to the hive. Found way out.
Muireall drank weird potion and had a weird dream where she sank to he bottom of the ocean. she found a well-temple left an offering. Second time much less people, less well kept - she left another gift. Third time entire temple ruined, just one figure. Muireall offered last thing but felt like the twins wanted more.

Summary

We created a bomb to drown/salt the fungi in the reservoir. Before detonating it Saga visited the flower in the garden again who, in order to leave, entered her skin and body. It now functions like a symbiote to Saga.
When placing the bomb we were interrupted by a lichenposter of Ingrid that was very frail and feeble. one hit from Muireall took it down. We persuaded the arachnite to leave the location as it wasn't safe. set a 1 hour timer and trapped the entrance. Despite our best efforts the bomb went of earlier meaning something still entered the room.
After the detonation, Seeblick was in a panic. A pillar of mushroom jutted out from the bay and then opened up like a flower. It now resembles a small island with ruins and postules on it.
After a discussion we decided to take autumn Ingrid with us to investigate while Spring Ingrid remained in town with Alaric to assist the panicked villagers.
At the island giant mushrooms sprouted, bigger versions of what we found of the chapel. Also the postules are clearly marmelade. In the ruins a very strong looking lichenposter waits (we didn't recognize them) and now we must fight.

    it is in the bay in the saltwater

    pillar opens up like a flower???
    It is now a lilypad fungal island
    not extremely big but 100 ft across
    saga sees 2 things on it
    some bumps on it - yellow bumps
    a structure on it - which is odd
    yellow postules similar to what we saw in the hive
    its the motherfungal
    with spying glass
    disgusting green grey island
    postules are marmelade bump
    structure is white grey stone but ruined
    no musklilies to see
    some flash and rapidly growing brigth blue mushroom
    they kinda look like the fey whispers at the chapel but not clustered
    not sure if thats good or bad
    weather becomes maelstorm and downpour on it the orb does not extend
    the twins or gretchen are stopping it
    ingrids want to go along as well but alaric doesnt trust it

    spring ingrid has reservations
    we take autumn ingrid with us, the other stay s to help calm the people and treat the wounded

    to mush island

    enormous clumps of marmelade, base walls of buildings but not much more
    the blue things around the blue caps are spores but held back by rain low to the ground
    dont go in spore clouds dont touch postules
    walls are 5 feet tall
    there is a figure inside the ruin
    a lichenposter - doesnt look frail looks very succesfull
    we can't recognise who it is
