Subjugation War
The Subjugation War was a war fought between the elves, dwarves and hobbits on the Plane of the Cheesewalkers. The war was started by Zinfilias Alunwe, then an Elven King who ruled part of the Forest of Dungol. During this war he fought for the expansion of his kingdom and enslaved the dwarven and hobbit clans and forced them to work in their mines. For many years the war raged the land, and any hope for a victory seemed lost. But, a group of daring adventurers, worked in secret to find a way to get close to the elven king. They fought him in combat and where able to defeat them. The group of adventurers, although suffering heavy losses themselves, where victorious. They returned to their home countries, lauded as heroes. With the defeat of their king the remaining forces quickly surrendered.
But, only a few years later, Zinfilias came back, but this time as a lich. Even before his death, he was a powerful mage and could perform magic not known to many. His death and resulting lichdom had magnified his powers beyond his wildest expectations. With his these newfound powers he summoned a massive army of the dead. The dead soldiers of the previous war, no matter which side, rose from their graves.
Again the lands were suffering from the dreadful war that was then fought. Soon the inhabitants of the lands were again enslaved and forced work under dreaful circumstances. But again, against all odds, a group of adventurers arose again. This time determined to defeat him, they infiltrated his castle on Spectacle Rock and sealed his philactery and his castle.
