Defences
The thick wooden/stone walls surround both the city and the main keep. There are guards towers and posts all around of the walls. There is a very heavy wooden gate with 2 solid iron portcullises.
Infrastructure
There are tall wooden and stone walls surrounding the city. All the common people live in the lower parts of the city. The poorest people live furthest from the keep of swamps shore. The richer you are, the closer you are to the keep. The keep is the furthest part of the city away from the swamp. The very poorest people live on top of the the swamps of stilts of boat like houses. There are lots of floating piers connecting the swamp houses.
The keep its self is largely made of wood and stone. It is not the most expensive looking building. It is designed to look simple as to not upset the commoners too much. The keep is fairly large and has many rooms and halls. The main hall of the keep is a large wooden with many tables and chairs. The chair for the head of house House Reed has a very simple wooden chair to sit upon. this reflects the family values. There is a chair next to it for the heir of Swamps Shore, the heads partner, the heads hand and the master of arms.
Assets
There are large stables so many horses can be held in Swamps shore. There are also large grain storage houses littered around the city. they are guarded at all times.
