Molten

Incor is a naturally molten substance. It exists in a liquid, molten form at ambient conditions, without the need for additional heating or melting processes. Strangely, it is difficult for incor to lose heat.

Magnetic Flux

Individual incor atoms act as monopoles. Except, inspite of its liquid state, still maintains the north/south magnetic field lines no matter the liquid's orientation.   When incor comes into contact with mass other than itself, it does not burn. Rather, it tears. At its worst, contact with incor would act like an electromagnetic blender.

Origin & Source

Eleusis

These are several circular and unmoving 'wounds' in the gold fields from where incor and pneuma are pulled. Within them, the incor exists in replenishing pools at around 2,200 degrees and move slowly or rapidly depending on its viscosity and gas content.   These wounds open randomly in the gold fields around Eusebia, but can be kept open for longer with a star-shaped jack wedged inside it.

Dimensional Dependent Differences

As a simulai, incor can have different properties depending on which side of the opal portal it presently resides.
 
Incor's potential for fiery death is only subverted within Manidweepa. It otherwise acts as normal when inside the 'wounds' or crossing into the carbon realm.   This is the only change in properties that incor undergoes when moving between dimensions.

Spaceship Building

They provide an efficient way to generate an electromagnetic shield to defend large ships via:
  1. Pumping incor through specially lined pipes throughout the ship's outer layer like blood
    OR
  2. Maintaining a rotating core of incor at the very center of a small symmetrical ship

Reactor Design

Sheathing a relatively thin layer of incor around a reactor can block radiation exposure, so long as the poles stay in place.

Byproducts & Sideproducts

Pneuma

Supposedly, the impossible components that go into gleipnir, make it one of the few substances that can withstand conditions in the Eleusian Wounds for repeated periods. During the extraction process, a pearly-white steam escapes from the molten solution and obscures visuals of the gleipnir chain as it is pulled and lowered through a wound. Picking up sprays of incor that cling to the chain as it does so.

Environmental Impact

Accidental spills in zero-G environments have caused showers of the molten substance to eat through the hulls of companion ships, before the droplets' mutual magnetic attraction pulls them together again into a large glob.

Reusability & Recycling

Any volume of incor would never lose its supernatural heat. Even spittles of incor can always be reused.

Trade & Market

Monopoly

The Mycenaeans and the Agorans are the only ones to control the sources of incor. This is reinforced by the proximity of their leader: Dorapan and her great powers.   Their method of extraction is safe but inefficient. Only small amounts can be pulled from the wounds at a time that keep cost artificially high for an inconsistent supply.

Storage

Spherification

Outside the effects of gravity, incor will naturally condense itself into a sphere. In so doing, act as a molten core that generates a powerful magnetic field that is best contained within another electromagnetic field.   Alternatively, without a heat resistant container, incor will act as any other liquid and pool in the lowest depression while setting fire to anything at its rim.
