Asphodel Quadrant

Structure

Dorapan

Dorapan mostly acts as an inspirational figure head for her people. When times are untroubled the nitty-gritty of managing Asphodel falls to her council. During times of crisis, she takes on a despotic role to galvanize all resources to the state's defense.

Elder's Council

The council acts on the periodic issues of the time; taking care not to bother Dorapan unless absolutely necessary. Its members were made up of constituents of the quarter and negotiated policies to take amongst themselves.

Meros

Meros are common divisions artificially created by the council to calculate taxation and economic contributions. They are also used for recruitment into army where each district would send a contingent the size of which was based on the population of the meros.

Telos

Autonomous subdivided districts with their own organs which had previously been another small center later integrated into the quarter.

Assets

Groves

Cracks and fissures permeate the Isle to act as homes and public place for its residents.

Gold Fields

A glittering ring of slow moving asteroids mined for their precious metals.

History

Skelton War

During the Siege of Elysium, Dorapan lobbed salvos of miniature blackholes towards the hordes as long range artillery support. Mycenaean citizens hid behind the gold fields like walls and as ambush positions against the invaders who broke through the curtain of non-effective radiation.
They moved relentlessly like an ever rising tide until they broke on the shores of Eusebia.

Demography and Population

Mycenaeans

The mycenaeans are the remaining individuals, not-as-yet amalgamated species members, who will eventually be incorporated into Dorapan.

Agorans

Agorans are a second wave of ethereals from a cousin species to the mycenaeans, from when they were still alive.

Territories

Isle of Eusebia

A ring of white rock free floating near the boundary line of portal alley.   The inner edge shows several open tunnels that lead into large halls, branching corridors and living spaces. The tunnels are dug into eight unconnected sectors, except for where they lead to an open crevasse and one walks across the ring's surface to another sector.

Military

Dorapan

Asphodel is under the direct protection of a halfway amalgamated ethereal being. She is shaped like a starfish whose five appendages feel lightly around Eusebia to anchor itself and as a protective measure. Dorapan has gravity manipulative properties along her tentacle limbs through which she might divert ranged attacks or crush nearby belligerents.

Foreign Relations

Nikit Mathur

Nikit is a close personal friend with whom Dorapan displays a motherly affection. Issuing advice of both a personal and political nature whenever he asks.

Laplwyds

While friendly and cordial with the diarchies of Tee and Tie, Cerise of Taw has been noted to display a one sided nervousness towards Dorapan.

Agriculture & Industry

Entertainment
