A brief timeline of the unionized syndicalists mining Parime's atmosphere
Colonial officials begin construction of spacefaring infrastructure and gas-mining ships to meet the colony's demand for power by way of Helium-3 fusion power-plants, and launch their first fleet in 4569u
To maximise the efficiency of the collection and processing of helium-3 within Parime, a new class of purpose-built gas mining craft is designed; a monstrously large surface-skimming airship that can hold unsurpassed amounts of collected gasses and deliver it to central-refinery stations by way of detachable surface-to-orbit drives. Dubbed the Leviathan-Class, these ships slowly become a common sight in the depths of Parime's depths and allow for unprecedented infrastructural and economic growth.
In order to meet the increasing power-demands of the colony, the first permanent gas-refinery is constructed and placed in orbit around Parime, where research and production of specialised large-scale scoop ships takes place.
Following deteriorating economic relations with the DCFP and Vaduz, a collective of the largest worker's union-groups in the Parime gas-mining industry consolidate to form the Parime Gas-Mining Unions, comprised of over 68% of all active and retired workers in the industry.
To meet the storage and maintenence needs of increasing numbers of gas-mining scoop ships, the construction of a second major-refinery is commissioned, improving on previous designs and able to act as a functioning proto-city in its own right.
Increasing pressure from worker's unions within Parime's atmospheric-mining stations leads to the creation of the Helium Co-Operatives, a collection of 'ship-states' that operate independently of Vaduz and the DCFP
Following a trade-dispute in transportation costs of Helium 3, Blue-Comet Security Solutions dispatches a combat-force onto one of the Helium Co-Operatives' scoop-vessels in an attempt to indimidate and forcibly claim ownership of extracted resources on behalf of the DCFP, only to be repelled by on-ship security forces and forced into retreat.
After the discovery of their participation in years of organised criminal-activity in the system, the clannish inhabitants of the HGS-Gemini are declared rogue and have bounties declared for their capture, dead or alive. Rather than submit to imprisonment or death, the Gemini instead dives deeper into the clouds of Parime, surviving by way of terrifying raids on other scoop ships for fuel, supplies and replacement components.
In preparation for the eventual reclamation of the Kemys, the system's powers would briefly commense construction of a blink-gate's superstructure based off of partial schematics retained in the initial evacuation of the colony-ship. However, progress slowed to a halt in the aftermath of the Food Fights that would lead to the dissolution of the Democratic Commonwealth of Falias and Parime and the formation of the Falias United Colonies. Interest and progress in the project would be functionally halted as the system adjusted to its new geopolitical structure, and only the retrieval of the necessary black-box components from the Kemys would have construction continue in earnest.
A third major refinery-station is constructed above Parime, once again improving on previous designs while providing even more provisions for long-term habitation.
Following a succesful expedition into the irradiated husk of the Kemys, the Vaduz collective discover much of the once-abandoned technology be in repairable condition, in particular the base-components for rudimentary blink-technology and Omninet-nodes having suffered no damage to their paracausal 'black-box' components. Provisional communication is reestablished wiith the Third Committee, and a diplomatic mission is arranged.
With the arrival of Union-forces and omninet-access came the data and schematics for several different alternative power-generation systems that did not rely on helium-3 isotopes as a primary fuel source. While many settlements continue to use helium fusion powerplants, the value of the co-operative's main export - both economic and political - begins to take a sharp dive as demand drops, causing economic strife within co-operative jurisdiction that would continue to plague their logistical and infrastructural needs despite Union's attempts at bringing post-scarcity economics to the system.
