Gus
Great Gus (a.k.a. Gentle Giant)
This rooster opened his first Vita Point when he saved a human baby from a rabid dog. Became his constant companion after that and has been with him since. That child has grown to be a grandfather in the intervening years. With a slew of grandchildren for Gus to watch over.
Physical Description
Body Features
He’s robust and fairly cold hardy. With blue plumage as well as black, white, and more mixed in; legs are willow in hue. And 7 oversized tail feathers reaching as high as his crest.
Special abilities
- Increased speed and agility. Faster than any known predator in the area.
- Echo location. Can discern the terrain around him with sound waves.
- Strengthening crow. Invigorates the bodies of those who hear it.
- Pacifying cluck. Becalms the minds of those nearby.
- Draining screech. Draws out the kinetic energy of any in earshot, reduces their movement as well as their Vita.
- Healing aura stomp. Slowly knits the flesh and bones of those within ten feet.
- Surprising aura wing flap. Those struck by the winds generated are in a constant state of surprise, resorting to fight or flight.

Near the end of his natural life he fought off a rabid dog that attacked a child on his farm. During this fight he opened his first vita point and extended his life.
