Personal history
A hero among the population of what used to be the Tempest Republic, he was a very influential figure. After studying under the tutelage of wizards and druids and serving several years in the Amani military, he returned home to continue his martial and magical training. He first made waves when he was able to tame the nightmare Fulgur. A few years later there was a massive magical storm. As it ripped through dreisturme it caused immense devastation. He was able to lessen the storm as it passed over Skyroar Mountain. Because of these actions, he was awarded the title Hero of the People, earning him the label Champion. He was delivered this information by Wallace Tossaxe. They became good friends at that point, and he looked up to Tossaxe as a mentor.
They spent several years having philosophical conversations. Tossaxe provided a lot of wisdom and guidance. Tossaxe's death on 1 Hallow, 20 OA hit him very hard. He had almost become a second father. Grieving the death of such an impactful mentor galvanized him. He became a more outspoken figurehead. He frequently challenged the monarchy to reform policies and try to help his people. On two occassions he even got an audience with the king in Unama.
He was frequently recruited by the Royal Armory but refused each time. He was uneasy about the conditions of the unification and felt the people of the Tempest Republic have not been given fair treatment since its forming. He was also an avid archeologist, studying the various ruins across Amana. Around 10 OA he began building a tunnel network through the Amani mountains. He worked with mages to imbue the same kind of magic on the doors in the mountain tunnels as there were in many of the ruins. As that project was finishing, catastrophe struck as thousands of warforged attacked from the rainforest.
He fought intensely, often fighting side by side with a rising star among the Royal Armory, then knight Ido Berge. The two made an impressive, unstoppable duo. They sealed deactivated warforged in one of the ruins in the rainforest. From there, until his death, Berge would visit him frequently. They were both interested in helping the people of northeastern Amana as best they could and would talk about policies and representation. It was Berge who found his body after he was murdered.
The scene was said to be gruesome. Reports stated that his wings had been cut off, over fifty stab wounds over his entire body, and his throat slit. Fulgur was also beheaded. His wings and Fulgur's head have not been found to this day.
