Personal history
Nightmare are rare creatures, and while the mana storm played a roll in its birth, it was not significant enough to have caused it alone. Almost immediately it was too much for the ranchers to handle, and it escaped. It was a menace to Amana for many years until it was befriended by Cathal Kondral. Many had tried to kill it before but it easily overpowered those who tried. On a few occassions it fled from hunters who overwhelmed it. No one knew how intelligent it was until Kondral introduced Amana to it. A beast and menace no longer, it became a beloved icon. While the two are closely associated with each other, it is given its own praise independent of the King of Storms.
