Yellowback's Bookseller

Yellowback's is a large ostentatious bookseller in the Mercantile District that exclusively sells books that are too trashy to be sold further up the city. The shop floor is decorated with candelabras and there is a stage area for book release and author events, that has a trapdoor platform that leads to the backstage area, where the author dressing room is located. The store is owned and run by the lizardfolk yellowback family (who all support a yellow platespine back), and its current proprieter is Penny Dreadful Yellowback.

Lindie Asklepa attended the Qu'onan the Warrior Elf author event at Yellowbacks, where she discovered that Talitha Spice is actually the pen-personality of Professor Qumin Anastasia Baharat, the exiled Katiba of House Baharat who works for Elderton University's history faculty. In attendance at the event was Qumin's fellow archeologist, Huntie Lamplighter, Andersen (of the Undergazette newspaper) and two of House Shajara's concubines, Ash and Thale, who collected two special-edition copies on behalf of Vizier Hali and Viziera Cassilda Shajara.
