Johann{a}'s Notes

Johann(a) kept detailed notes on her former employer, Todfrey Laurence's, noble family (the Laureats) and on his evil Razor, which she now seems to be trying to hunt down.

Summary

Then-Viziera Damasque Laureat featured prominently in the notes (aligning with the court rumour that Damasque was practicing forbidden arts). The Viziera Cassilda Shajara was also mentioned as one who practiced forbidden summoning magic.
The notes also outline the details of Sweeney's Razor, which seems to have bound within it a creature similar (but not identical) to a Genie. This creature is not "Star-tied" as genies are, thus is probably some kind of Div.
Vizier Richard Dargent is also mentioned in the notes as "the Vizier who controls all the money".
The notes also include two maps which show a passage physically inside the outer wall of Palimpsest that leads to a large chamber in or under the Shajara Tower. One passage leads off to the Dargent-Laureat Estate (although given the time of writing, it is described as the "Laureat Estate"), and the other passages head towards the estates of other noble families.
