The Mortician
The Mortician (a.k.a. Morti)
The Mortician descends upon the recently departed with a laugh, her voice not filled with malice but instead humor. She tells jokes, and you can see, on this little island of those who cannot yet pass on, that they all seem to perk up at her appearance.
She hugs those who linger longer and those who shall soon leave, and then turns her attention on you. Her eyes brighten up as she smiles and holds out her hand. "Welcome to Memento, what will your game be?"
And suddenly, you can tell why those around her seem so jovial.
