After ruling the kingdom for nine years by himself King Maffeo Rex takes Cristina Rex as his wife.

King Maffeo lived a secluded life from the public eye, allowing his actions to do most of the talking for him. When the news broke that he would be taking a bride the kingdom was alight with who this mysterious woman could be. At the largest ceremony since his coronation, King Maffeo Rex and Cristina Fonte were joined in marriage before the people. Rumors swirled that Cristina was pregnant during the ceremony prompting even more rumors to start about their reclusive monarch.
