Rantis

"Every spoonful of Ressure can make its own Rantis"
— Peacekeeper saying meaning 'Don't waste things and you'll always have enough'
Rantis is a traditional Majoran snack, made from Ressure, a powder which is made from ground-up moss that lives in the caves beneath P'Ache Major's surface.

When mixed with water, or a small amount of any liquid, the Ressure powder will form a dough that when baked makes a sweet treat. It is very affordable and is popular with young children as it's delicious and can be mixed with other flavours and colourings to create variety.

History

The tradition of making Rantis predates recorded history on P'Ache Major, and versions of it can be found referenced throughout the Majoran's art and culture.

Significance

Rantis is a traditional Majoran snack which is often given to children for good behaviour. It is thought that the act of chewing encourages the brain to work and is therefore a good snack for chewing on when trying to come up with new ideas.
