Dread River
The Dread River is a formidable waterway that flows westward from Brightwater Lake, eventually emptying into the ocean. The river's slow-moving, brackish waters are teeming with life, both beautiful and dangerous.
The riverbanks are lined with dense mangrove forests, providing a habitat for a variety of birds, reptiles, and insects. Crocodiles, both large and small, lurk in the murky waters, waiting for unsuspecting prey. The riverbed is home to a diverse range of fish, including catfish, carp and quippers.
Navigating the Dread River is a perilous task. The river's strong currents and hidden dangers can pose a significant threat to even the most experienced boatmen. The crocodiles that inhabit the river are particularly dangerous, capable of attacking and devouring unwary travelers.
