Clothesis
Clothesis is the god of time, fate, and luck. He is also known as Father Time.
he/him (kloh-THEE-sis)
Appearance/Symbolism
Father Time rarely shows himself in front of mortals. When he does he appears as an elderly man with long white hair and white robes adorned with blue and golden designs depicting timelines, clocks, and historical moments of Othealia in a greecian-like design. Around his head floats uniquely shaped hourglasses and coins that spin at a gradual pace. He uses a lot of sand imagery and his symbol is an hourglass equally pouring into both ends. Pictographical Details
The pictographical details of his symbol in Celestial script represent three stages of growth in the life of a plant, the tallest of which has an observing eye set above it. Status and Relationships
He was one of the founding gods alongside Othealia and Grimora. He is the closest thing the Eighteen have to a leader alongside Lady Death and Mother Nature. While they lead their voices are no louder than anyone else on the council, aside from the Gods of Falsehoods. He once had a strong relationship with Mother Nature but after a dramatic falling out in which many of the gods took sides in the Separation. Now they are on neutral terms and Father Time has been married to Cato for a long time. After the split with Mother Nature, Father Time apologized for their mistreatment of Lady Death and now the two are very close friends. Father Time doesn't treat many gods as his children except for Fallon and Debella. He especially admires Fallon for their strong will and determination. Personality
Father Time is often a stoic figure, but when his voice needs to be heard he does so impressively. He prefers to not acknowledge his status as an ancient god and treats all gods the same, often befriending much lesser gods such as the Rat King. He does not enjoy conflict and prefers not to intervene and let it work itself out with time. His touch on the pantheon could be described as a hand that holds it up but does not falter or influence.
