Arall
Arall is a mostly druid society. It is led by an incompetent council of elders that have unknowingly given all of the political and economic power to massive trading companies that exploit the druidic workers. The city-state began as an average druid society and was well functioning with few laws for over 2000 years. In the last 200 years, it has been taken by storm by the companies. The companies use the lack of laws in Arall to get cheap labor and dangerous working conditions.
Districts of Arall
Apiary District.
The town is split into 4 sections that fan outwards. The center of town is a luscious hub filled with greenery and vibrant plant life. This is where many of the diplomats and politicians live and work never really seeing the desolate outer layers. This layer lives in denial of the exploitation and issues of the outer layers. They have a lot of wealth and it is where the council of druidic elders is held. Dawnson District.
The first semi-ring is devoted to orchards and fruit production. This ring is run and owned by the Dawnson Co. Its symbol is of a large sun mixed with the image of an apple. They treat their workers the best of the three companies and land is the healthiest. They supply and trade fruits all along the Llaudrian Road. The workers here live in suitable homes but are often dealing with increasing rent prices and eviction, forcing them to work in the lower-class rings. Shining District.
The second semi-ring is devoted to wheat and vegetable growth. This ring is run by the Shining Root Inc. Its symbol is of a white root vegetable under the soil. In this ring, the employees' housing and survival needs are met but they are paid next to nothing, not allowing employees to leave. Fyac District.
The third, and largest, semi-ring is devoted to lumber. This ring is run by the Fyac Trees company. The workers are forced into small homes and barely earn a living. The earth is completely drained. Over and over again the druids have cut down the trees, ripped them from their soil, and then used their druidic magic to regrow the forest and continue the process over and over again. The soil is now grey and cracked barely supporting life outside of the druids' magic. Many people from larger surrounding city-states, such as Okotesh or Hingeship Beach, flee to this outer section of Arall to escape law enforcement and often to make a little coin. The living conditions created by the Fyac Trees company are so bad that many are not concerned or confused by a revolving door of employees moving into and out of homes, often ones that are already occupied. The council of elders is relatively oblivious to what is happening outside of the Apiary District and the political landscape of Countillan. The council holds 5 seats that are held for life. When an elder passes the next elder is chosen through a druidic meditation ritual performed by the other elders that takes a full month to complete, in which they get no other work done. The current council is made up of the following;

When an elder passes the next elder is chosen through a druidic meditation ritual performed by the other elders that takes a full month to complete, in which they get no other work done. The current council is made up of the following;
- Arch-Elder-Druid Gilliphis of the Moon (3,000 yrs old): She is an elderly gnomish woman with long stringy grey hair and the oldest of the council. She has a very small statue often balled up in a massive griffin-fur cloak, except for the massive moose antlers that sit atop her head as part of a ceremonial crown. She is tired and overall disinterested in the council, being long exhausted from her decades of service.
- Arch-Elder-Druid *sound of a butterfly's wings* of the Shepard (1,500 yrs old): They are a prudish elf with extremely pale skin and long white hair. They wear robes made of different kinds of bug wings and carry around a book that chronicles the exact anatomy of every creature they have encountered (it has only included different kinds of bugs for the last 300 years).
- Arch-Elder-Druid Pripine of the Dreams (800 yrs old): He has taken a vow of silence as part of a spiritual journey. He has spent many years studying the nature of dreams and believes he can do so best in the form of a Koala. He has held the form of an ancient koala for the last three decades. This has recently sturred some suspicion.
- Arch-Elder-Druid Sessius of the Land (750 yrs old): She is an elven woman with dark grey hair and parts of her skin are covered in tree bark with a similar pattern to vitiligo. She also wears a wreath around her head is constantly adorned in different vines and leaves. She is rude and impatient with people and does not like to be disturbed or annoyed by political nonsense.
- Arch-Elder-Druid Ilair of the Wildfire (700 yrs old): He is the youngest on the council. He is a greying bugbear who wears earthy orange tones and his fur is wildly outgrown, exaggerating his carnal features. He is quiet and reserved. None of the council know his name or what druidic circle he represents and he doesn't speak up amongst them for he has extremely debilitating social anxiety when speaking to anyone but his wildfire companion. He currently serves as a court leader on the Court of Countillan.
