Elf

Elves are an orginal humaniod created by Lady Death, influenced by the Realm of Ivy.
Elves are often slightly taller than humans but vary in a similar manner. Elves tend to have a leaner stature and have long hair and often struggle to grow facial hair. Their most notable feature is by far their pointed ears. Their ears call back to their fae roots. Elves will often proudly display this feature adorning them with ear cuffs, piercings, etc.
Elves tend to vary quite a lot in culture and tradition. They are very often influenced by their environment. The culture of a wood elf is drastically different than that of a high elf. Some common threads, however, are the use of soft curvature in their designs of architecture, clothes, writing, etc. Elves live for a very long time and rather than sleep they trance or meditate. This leaves a lot of time for contemplation. They often find magic to be important, whether divine, primal, or arcane. Magical understanding and practice are things that can occupy the mind while in this meditative state and are encouraged to avoid unwanted thoughts.
