Sovereign Iya
Sovereign Iya
Sovereign Iya was the ruler of the grand city of Iya during the Age of Miracles which is his namesake. He was known as a kind and caring ruler with divine abilities that were only equaled by those who eventually ascended to godhood. He died at the end of the era sacrificing himself to ensure that the denizens of his city continued to live and were protected from the lingering effects of The Planar Convergence.
Not much is known about Sovereign Iya before he was ruler given he lived during the Age of Miracles but even in Iyan archives any information about Sovereign Iya has been scrubbed. Most of what is known about him is less fact and more so commonly held belief perpetuated mostly by his worshippers and the Fervid.

Manifesting the Wall
101 days before the start of the Planar Convergence, Sovereign Iya traveled the border of his city for 100 days and 100 nights. While traveling the border, he used his divine spark to manifest a Great Wall a feat unseen before then. No one knows why he did it and how he had such perfect timing, finishing the wall the day before the Planar Convergence kicked off.
While traveling, he was visited upon by many denizens of Ostyria and even a few gods. He was a marvel to behold, able to manifest a 70 foot wall almost instantly without ceasing. Some people even asked for him to bless them, to which he famously replied "I am but a man doing what I must for my people."
