Ruplal College
Ruplal College was an elite School in Dhaka, Earth. Founded by Dahlia Grumman-Knottman in 2580.
History
The college was built upon the remains of the historic Ruplal House, originally built in 1825, after the grounds where purchased by Dhalia. Construction for the college was an expensive but quick process, costing billions but reaching completion within 4 years due to the bulk of the work being extensive renovation projects to the existing house; a more modern adaptation to the building was made to expand the Raghunath Block on the east wing to accommodate for the needs of the college. The school gained a reputation for attracting top class scholars and visiting lecturers whilst also offering substantial scholarship programmes across The Republic. The college maintains a small peace and meditation garden that has sunset views of the Buriganga River.Foreign Links
From 2590, Ruplal College entertained a close relationship with Vannard Gaur college in Gannid space. The effort, initially led by Dr Cevin Knottman, led to an exchange programs where Terran and Gannid academics would act as guest lecturers at their counterparts' colleges. From 2595, building on their successful initial exchange with the Gannid, the college welcomed more students from accross The CCN alliance . As well as the expected Gannid contingent, Rorn, Mor-Du and Ekuneri students also spent some time at the college. This exchange also saw many 2nd year and PHD students spend time at foreign universities.
