Order of the Golden Rose

The Order of the Golden Rose is an order of holy warriors based out of Caledwyn. They are led by Saint Emalia, and were the catalyst for the end of the Age of Iron. The Order led the revolutions that spread across Orioth, bringing each of the seven great evils to an inglorious end. They were founded by Saint Emalia after her defeat of Olganoth proved that the seven members of the Pact of Iron were not indestructable, and could be defeated. A small group became an army, and the heart of that army was the Order of the Golden Rose.
Today, they are less free to dispense justice, as they are limited by treaties and political borders outside of Caledwyn and it's allies in the Golden League. They have taken up the roles of rulership in Caledwyn, seeing themselves as shepherds.
Other notable members of the Order include the Four Companions of Tressaunt, as well as Archmagus Rowlen, the father of the current ruler of Rasten, in the Remnant Isles.
