Tressaunt

Tressaunt is a nation located in Central Orioth. It is made up of the eastern Esqualdan Plains, as well as the western and northern portions of the Gemine River Basin, and the southeast slopes of the Monavir Mountains. The population of Tressaunt is largely Human and Halfling, as well as a strong presence of Genasi, specifically among the nation's noble families, often referred to as the Four Families. The capital of Tressaunt is the city of Croixeau, which was once the seat of power for Amadea, the Lady of the Sanguine Courts. Tressaunt is one of the nations that make up the alliance known as the Golden League. With large portions of the Esqualdan Plains converted to farmland and pastures, Tressaunt is the largest producer and exporter of wheat in Orioth, as well as milk-based products, leather and beef from numerous cattle. The norther Khavrel Forest, along the mountain range, has a high concentration of maple trees, leading to the harvesting and processing of maple syrup and other maple based sweets. They grow pears and plums in the north, and the large amounts of wheat and cattle has led to large cultures surrounding bread, beer, and cheese.
